It’s more important than ever for businesses to track and measure performance across marketing channels. Web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) provide data about your users and their reactions to your digital marketing.
This data is crucial because your budget is limited and your targets are high. Analytics are the only way to make sure your campaigns are converting.
For those using Calendly to book meetings with leads and customers, we offer integrations with both Google Analytics and Meta Pixel so you can accurately measure the impact of your customer outreach methods and marketing spend.
Tracking how your customers convert from your campaigns to submitting your inbound Routing Forms or booking meetings enables you to test and experiment on how to optimize your outreach and messaging.
Using Calendly + Meta Pixel
Meta Pixel is a code snippet you put on your website to track how users interact with your Facebook advertising. When you create a Meta Pixel and add it to your website, the pixel tracks when visitors take action on a page, like adding something to a shopping cart, purchasing, or clicking through CTAs. Insight on these actions can help you and your business — especially when using Meta Business Manager to run paid ads — by making sure your campaigns are effective and reaching the right audience.
When you use Meta Pixel with Calendly, you can unlock data points around your Calendly booking pages to feed directly into your Meta campaigns. Once connected, you can track visitors to your booking page who originated from your Facebook page, or visitors to any website with Calendly embedded.
For example: If you want to run a campaign to lead users to a webpage and ultimately book a meeting with a sales rep for your company, a Meta Pixel can show you:
Visits to your Calendly booking page
Button clicks and actions taken
Routing Form submissions
Conversions/successfully scheduled events
With this information, you can better understand how well your campaigns and content are working, and use this data to hone your audience or craft new contextual ads that resonate better with your audience. Further, use this data to retarget visitors who didn’t successfully schedule a meeting, or to create a lookalike audience based on behaviors to find new potential customers.
If you have a Calendly Professional plan or higher you can integrate Meta Pixel right now.

Using Calendly + Google Analytics
If you use Google Analytics as a website and digital marketing tracking platform, it’s easy to connect Calendly to dive deeper into your data.
The Google Analytics with Calendly integration helps you measure campaign funnels and conversions to better understand how users are engaging with your booking pages, Routing Forms, or Calendly booking views that are embedded on your site. Once connected, Calendly fires details about your invitee’s actions to Google Analytics and records a conversion when a meeting is scheduled.
You can connect Calendly to both Google Analytics 4 and Universal Analytics* with the relevant tracking codes. (We recommend using GA4 for tracking as Google will soon stop supporting Universal Analytics.) Once connected, Calendly tracks all events for your Event Type and display them as events in Google Analytics, including:
Routing Form visits and submissions
Visits to your landing page or Calendly booking page
Date/time selected by an invitee
Successfully scheduled events
In addition to tracking these events, you can also append UTM parameters to your Calendly link to track how your invitees accessed your booking page. Your UTM parameters will be listed as the source in Google Analytics.
Plus, set up custom goals and conversion events for added detail, and use all of this information to inform Google Ads campaigns and develop a better understanding of your users and meeting trends.
If you have a Calendly Professional plan or higher you can integrate Google Analytics right now.
Level-up your Calendly game with analytics
Calendly is much more than a scheduling tool. When used strategically, it can be a key tool in your tech stack to drive leads, book customers, and close deals. Connecting your Calendly accounts to analytics integrations with Meta Pixel and Google Analytics gives you access to valuable insights around how users interact with your marketing.
By taking advantage of this information, you and your business can be sure you’re investing in the right campaigns, and allowing users to book time with you when and where they need.
